Event Description: A Ceili is an Irish Social dance and Music party. The dances are taught and called, and no experience or partner is needed.

This month we feature The Portland Ceili Band, with Teresa Baker and friends, sponsored by The Portland Ceili Society.

The Portland Ceili Society (PCS) is a 501C3 not for profit organization whose mission is to promote, preserve, educate and encourage the practice of traditional Irish folk dances, songs and music in the Portland metropolitan area. PCS has been hosting concerts, dances and events since 1982. Ceilis are typically held on the Third Friday of each month, September through May.
